I know one of my neighbors, with a new Tundra....his truck has been sitting parked for about 3 months now. Yep, you guessed it. Dealership won't even touch it yet because they know they don't have a fix really. This truck doesn't even have the normal license plate on it yet....it still has the paper print temporary license plate... People are getting super pissed off with $70k brand new trucks sitting worthless broken.

People supposed to just believe that bs from Toyota, that it's "some metal shavings/debris in the engine"? No way...this absolutely looks like a design flaw and engineering problem! Toyota will have very dark times coming- now that masses of people who bought Toyotas over and over for 30-40 years, because of their reliability and value- will simply start looking elsewhere and won't trust Toyota anymore. This will be a huge problem! Now Corollas are blowing engines too...

Had a brand new 2005 4x4 access cab tacoma with a 3" lift limited slip and did pretty good 4 wheelin then decided to get a new tacoma in 2015 when 3rd gen was just coming out. Was going to get the 3rd gen but found out toyota dropped the engine size and said HELL NAW there's no replacement for displacement and bought their last model 2015 tacoma double cab 4x4 off road with locking diff that can pull my waverunner around at elephant butte nm shores. It's a little tank when set up just right.

I've got a 2012 4x4 TRD Sport Access Cab, and it has been the best vehicle (of 11) I've had. Just hit 2 years with it, and despite it being thirsty, and the overwhelming aftermarket support for it, I love it. I'm broke, but yeah I love it lol

i think the oil change is the one thing i've done to the 4runner that didn't have any complications, but i did lose time trying to find a container for whatever goofy amount over 5 qts it wanted (1.5?). settled on a 40 oz apple sauce jar, which still was not the right amount, but it was clean, dry, and close enough. i'm still unsure whether apple sauce is sold by volume or by weight

My 2015 is like that. I couldn't attach my phone via bt because the touchscreen would not respond to touches in some areas but i learned the credit card trick on yt but id still want to upgrade/update soon. For now it works though

I do mine cold. Flip the fumoto valve and walk away. Come back when I remember flip the fumoto valve back and pull the filter with no spillage. Fill, screw on new filter, doneski. 4Runner, but same generation 1grfe. Probably the easiest oil change in the world.

The shifting from 2 wheel to 4 wheel is so bad on those 4 runners

if you're ready, yeah . . . maybe 10 minutes or less . . . but, does prep time count? getting 14mm socket, filter wrench, oil catch pan, 10mm socket for removing plastic engine cover, . . . but, i also change oil while it's still relatively hot too . . . 🛢️👀 also, don't forget rubber plug beneath filter catch . . . and, drain time, recovering old oil and recycling it or, delivering it to local auto-parts shop for recycling. i also still use five one-quart bottles of 5w-30 Mobil 1 full synthetic motor oil for my '08 Tacoma . . . 🛢️👀

Pshh!!! I can do my oil change in under 10 minutes (and that's with about 8 quarts of oil). I also, don't have to get under my vehicle.. Okay it's an Audi, therefore that disqualifies me LOL!! Cool video idea, though... 👍

0w20 oil hot turbos small v6 higher torque than even some German v8 boosted engines yeah those small narrow bearings and small quick spool boost curve turbos torque comes on fast recipe for spun bearings 😅 design is flawed, metal shavings is a bs line 😅

Straight up this is a basic engineering flaw, 400 plus almost 500 ft pounds of torque out of a small v6 then spec 0w20 oil 😂 yeah ok Toyota, basically Toyota corporate of Japan got corrupted by greedy Toyota of America executives, there is no solution to this failed v6, the only solution is to reduce boost and torque output and thicker oil 😂, Toyota engineers literally lied in an interview when asked if there would be increase wear and tear and reliability with that much power out of a small v6, they literally spewed marketing nonsense at him “we increased combustion efficiency” that has nothing to do with physical parts taking on more stress 😅 you can’t cheat physics folks, this is just greed and poor decisions on Toyota of America to corrupt Toyota of Japan, from Subaru to bmw Toyota’s yeah it’s going downhill

Bought my 09 tacoma v6 trd off road with 75k miles now it has over 250k and still runs smooth can't tell the difference from when I first Bought it , i do all my maintenance so i know its done right, that's really all it needs, and love the wide variety of aftermarket parts and upgrade you can get for it ,i plan to keep it forever 😀 it red so my wife named it Scarlett 😅

I have a 2011 Tacoma with 76k miles on it and plan to keep it forever. I love that I can basically service everything myself. My truck is a TRD Sport, Access Cab, V6, Manuel, 4x4 in Barcelona Red. The only thing I wish was different would be having the TRD Off Road package instead. I bought my truck used in 2021 for $15k and it had 55k miles on it at the time. Was one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Honestly a belt in my opinion is more reliable than a chain. With chains there’s a lot more parts that go bad like guides and tensioners and even chains can stretch over time and more expensive once they go.

I have 09 double cap, 75,000 miles right now. Replace new alternator and battery.

3rd gens gear hunting can be fixed with a tune, it's that easy. Maybe costs you $400.

Your argument about their 4 cylinder and epa makes no sense Ford offers 2 v6 options

My 2013 4.0 dbl cab off road. 131,000 miles (210,000km) Only maintenance it’s needed (besides regular oil changes and filters) is I just did front brake pads and a u joint. Needs nothing else. I am a mechanic so I know if something is wrong or not. Everything still works as it should.

I have a 93' Toyota Pickup with 103k original miles. Reg cab, short bed, 2wd, 5spd. Everything is manual, everything works. I drive it in the snow with some sand bags and winter tires. Never let me down. My friend bought a 2023 tundra 4x4 that has 9k miles on it. Has had so many electrical problems with all the new tech in it... Granted we think his was a bit of a dud, and Toyota has honored their warranty with him and been very easy to work with... He still gawks over my 93 pickup everytime he sees it.

Nothing was wrong with the 5.7 V-8 motor . My 2018 Tundra 4X4 has been thru hell and it's still running like new . And it's paid for .

as much as i love how small the 1st gen, i chose a 2nd gen because it is safer than the 1st gen, but it still has the simplicity I like. and the 4.0 engine is too sweet

This is not the proper approach to set up the extender. Furthermore, most routers lack a WPS button; what then? How would you know where to keep the extender to ensure proper speed and strong signals from the main router? Even I was confused at first, but now I understand how to correctly set it up.

Is this the same for the 24''s?

hi there i bought a 2015 tacoma 4 doors 2.7 liter engine 2 yrs. ago milege was 46k now 65k i love mine it has a simple features and i did not change anything except oil , brakes and sparkplugs and wires to me if its not broken don' t change it at all i also have a everyday car a 1995 corolla dx 1.8 liter engine has a milege of 195k it was my highschool graduation gift from my mom .

I've owned my white mr2 93 turbo for the last twenty years. Once in awhile, i zone out and think about selling it. then i snap out if it and slap myself silly. It's a timeless machine with beautiful lines and still fun to drive shifting through the gears. It's refreshing to see content such as yours pop up on my feed. Thank you 🙏

Raptor lights are the lamest thing anyone would add. they do nothing look stupid and pile a lot of folks in the same pile. JMO
